The Warmth

So don't let the world bring you down.
Not everyone here is that f***ed up and cold.
Remember why you came and while you're alive
experience the warmth before you grow old.

Hysteric-al

No longer, no longer
What you ask
Strange steps
Heels turn black
The cinders, the cinders
They light the path
Of these strange steps
Take us back, take us back

Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me
You suddenly complete me
Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me

You suddenly complete me

No wonder, no wonder
Other half
Strange steps
Heels turn black
The cinders, they splinter
And light the path
Of these strange steps
Trace us back, trace us back

Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me
You suddenly complete me
Flow sweetly, hang heavy
You suddenly complete me
You suddenly complete me

Hysteric, hysteric
Hysterical

Mad World

Mad World by Tears for Fears and Gary Jules' version is one of my favorite songs. I've been playing this song on my piano alot last week because at first I liked how it was a slow and nice melody/tune, but then I realized I was playing it because I have been feeling down lately and when I want to get away I go in my room and just play because it calms me down. It is such a nice song...the words are very emotional, sad but true.

If you haven't heard this song listen here:

Lyrics:

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world
mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world ...
mad world

Enlarging your world
Mad world

A Good Night, The Best In A Long Time...

So Alice in Chain's concert was March 17th and I must say it was the best concert I have ever been to...and I must say I have been to alot in the past 2 years. I was up close and rocking out to my favourite band as they played old and new tunes. Not only was there a huge raccoon that ran across the top side balcony, I happened to pick up one of the many guitar picks thrown in the crowd and of course I got Jerry Cantrell's!!
